This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys a mix of strategic business management, team leadership, and hands-on operational oversight — all within a well-established, trusted local practice. You’ll have the support of both a strong local team and VetEvolve’s regional leadership network to ensure you can make a true and lasting impact. 💼 Key Responsibilities Leadership & Human Resources Recruit, train, and retain an engaged and motivated veterinary team Conduct onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives Collaborate with our Medical Directors on team and doctor meetings Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive culture rooted in VetEvolve’s values Promote safety, teamwork, and accountability throughout the hospital Operations & Financial Management Manage daily hospital operations, scheduling, and workflow efficiency Monitor KPIs such as payroll, revenue, and inventory performance Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Medical Director on growth initiatives Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance Ensure consistent and accurate use of practice management software Drive continuous improvement in service quality, operational performance, and team engagement ✅ What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a veterinary setting (Practice Manager, Hospital Administrator, etc.) Minimum 2 years of large animal experience Proven ability to lead and inspire teams while driving operational excellence Strong business and financial acumen; comfortable using data to inform decisions Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic, team-oriented environment Willingness to commute or relocate to Walkersville, MD 🎯 Why VetEvolve?
