(residential homes, commercial buildings, and publicspaces) across NSW, WA in Australia. On a full-timebasis, you will
be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supportedteam.
Title: WALL AND FLOOR TILER, Full- time position
Salary: A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus super
Work Location: In person.
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate thefollowing:
Requirements
Certificate 4 in wall and floor Tiling
2years.
Knowledge of tiling techniques andmaterials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints andtechnical drawings.
Physical stamina and strength.
Attention to detail and precision.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Cleaning, leveling, andpriming surfaces to ensure proper adhesion oftiles.
Tile Selection and Layout: Choosingappropriate tiles based on design specificationsand arranging them according to
detailed plans or patterns.
Cutting Tiles: Using tile cutting tools to shapetiles to fit around obstacles such as pipes,corners, and edges.
Applying Adhesive: Mixing and spreadingadhesives or mortar on surfaces evenly tosecure tiles.
Installing Tiles: Carefully placing tiles in rowsor patterns, ensuring they are aligned andspaced correctly.
Grouting: Filling gaps between tiles withgrout to provide a finished look and preventmoisture penetration.
Sealing: Applying sealants to protect tiledsurfaces from stains, water damage, and wear.
Quality Inspection: Checking finished workfor accuracy, uniformity, and adherence todesign specifications.
Repair and Maintenance: Replacing damagedtiles, re-grouting, and performing routinemaintenance to keep tiled
surfaces in good condition.
Health and Safety: Adhering to safetyregulations and using protective equipment toprevent accidents and injuries.
Customer Interaction: Communicating withclients to understand their preferences, addressconcerns, and provide
recommendations.
