Our Parts Counter will be someone who supports our parts department while providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Some of the responsibilities would include: * Check in orders, pull orders, and put stock orders away  * Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices as needed  * Create special order requests for parts not in stock and/or acquire in town if possible  * Monitor special orders, upgrade parts if backorder  * Keep good communication with customers, both internal and external  * Actively do cycle counts on the inventory  * Assist the manager with damage/shortage claims with the manufacturer  * Deliver parts to the Technicians  * Set up parts deliveries for wholesale customers  * Assist all customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner  * Scrap warranty and/or obsolete parts  * Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values  * All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned  We're Looking For: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions. * Experience with auto parts sales (preferred) * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. * Exceptional customer service skills. * High level of detail orientation and accuracy while having the ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities. * Proven experience working alone and within a team environment. * Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and being able to utilize other computer programs as needed. * This position will require you to move around the dealership and is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting.
