Description

Reporting to the Ward Manger, the post holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive reception and administrative service to patients, visitors and ward staff Including :

  • Obtaining patient records from other hospitals as required
  • Documenting information in accordance with Record keeping and information governance standards.
  • Booking transport as and when required
  • Undertaking Photocopying, filing and archiving services
  • Minute taking meetings as required
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data protection act & Priory Group policy.

The role is an important part of the administrative team within the hospital and is based in a clinical area. The successful candidate will be required to cover other wards to cover pre-planned leave & Sickness and the hospital reception when required.
Priory Hospital East Midlands provide acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need - Comprising of 2 Acute wards both with 9 beds and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 10 beds. We are dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care, which will enable patients’ recovery and re-engagement with the community. We provide services for local NHS patients and out of area patients from the NHS. Our wards offer assessment and treatment to females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders.
