As a clerical officer/ward clerk you will be working within the gynaecology outpatient department or G1 inpatient ward to provide a comprehensive administrative service.
You will be dealing with members of the public and linking with medical staff at all levels both face to face and on the telephone. The role involves a combination of reception based work and organisational duties such as filing and preparing upcoming clinics.
We are looking for somebody enthusiastic, polite and professional with great communication skills to join our hard working team. They will need experience in dealing with members of the public and providing an excellent service. In addition to this, we are looking for someone comfortable performing office duties such as answering phones and with previous experience using IT systems. As this role involves interactions with patients, professionalism and adhering to GDPR is imperative.
This role includes shift work between the hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 3pm on weekends and bank holidays ( on a rota basis to be shared within the team).
We offer pay enhancements for Saturday and Sunday.
