Communicate effectively and liaise with all health care staff as appropriate. To co-ordinate the management aspects of the ward. Within that responsibility; plan, organise and deploy staff according to competencies and workload in order to meet patient needs. Ensuring quality and provision of care meets standards and achieves national based targets Act as a mentor, preceptor & assessor to junior nursing staff, facilitating the implementation of the competency programme.
Contribute towards the development of an effective learning environment within the clinical area
