THE ROLE
The role of a Warden Call Engineer will be to carry out installs, reactive fault finding, repair and preventative planned maintenance on Warden Call / Nurse Call Communication Systems in Communal Properties, Nursing Care Homes, Assisted Living.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Warden Call Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintain company vehicle in a clean road worthy condition each week and report any damage or faults as per item 9 of the terms and conditions of your contract of employment.
- When arriving on site, ensure site manager or resident are made aware of the reason for visit, present ID card and sign in where required.
- Review issued installation plan given for each installation contract.
- Carry out installation work as stipulated on installation plan and inform customers of the next day’s work plan.
- On completion of each day’s work, leave site in a tidy and safe condition.
- Promote adaptations to onsite customer representatives, eg; Scheme manager, caretaker, warden, whilst working on project.
- Maintain daily contact before 17.00hrs each day giving progress for that day’s work in accordance with installation plan.
- Provide technical advice and information on DFP to customers and other DFP engineers when required.
- To work throughout the UK including overnight stays depending upon contract projects.
- Comply with method statement, risk assessment and health and safety policy and management systems at all times, together with the customers health and safety standards whilst working on site.
- To be responsible for the safe and secure storage of all equipment and plans whilst working on site.
THE ADVERTISED SALARY RANGE REFLECTS THE ON-TARGET EARNINGS (OTE) FOR THIS ROLE, WHICH INCLUDES THE BASIC SALARY PLUS PAYMENTS FOR TRAVEL TIME, ON-CALL DUTIES AND ADDITIONAL FACTORS.
