The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement. About the role: This role at InPost Newstrade is responsible for leading and supporting a team to ensure the effective delivery of daily administrative operations. You will manage workloads, oversee performance reviews, coordinate absence cover, and provide training and motivation to team members. You will act as a key link between senior management and the team, ensuring clear communication while delegating tasks, setting priorities, and maintaining efficient workflows. The role also involves managing data and reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting meetings, projects, and wider operational requirements. The successful candidate will be a confident people manager with strong organisational and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems, and able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. 📍 Location: Imperial Park, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry, CV3 4PB 📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 🕒 Hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm 💰 Salary: £32,278.22 per annum What you’ll be doing: Lead, coach, and motivate a team, managing workloads, performance reviews, and absence cover to ensure consistent service delivery. Oversee daily administrative operations, delegating tasks, setting priorities, and maintaining efficient workflows. Act as a key liaison between senior management and the team, ensuring clear and effective communication. Manage data and reporting, driving continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Resolve issues, support change initiatives, and provide operational support for meetings and projects. Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills with a proactive, organised approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems. Proven team management experience with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
