The North Bay Food Bank is seeking a compassionate, organized, and reliable individual to join our team in a hybrid support role that includes warehouse operations, administrative tasks, data input, and direct customer service. This position plays an important part in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing respectful, dignified support to the individuals and families we serve.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Proficiency in basic computer programs including email, Microsoft Office products and data entry
· Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous experience in a warehouse, customer service, or administrative role is an asset
· A passion for helping others and supporting food security in the community
Most possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License, have a clean driver’s abstract and provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
· Assist with collecting, receiving, sorting, organizing, and inventory warehousing
· Maintain inventory tracking systems and ensure accurate stock levels
· Support donation duties, including receiving and recording donations
· Input and maintain client and donation data using internal databases
· Provide friendly and respectful customer service to food bank visitors
· Prepare food hampers or orders for clients
· Assist with general office tasks such as filing, printing, and supply management
· Collaborate with volunteers and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow
· Other assigned duties as per the Warehouse Manager & Executive Director
