Job Description
We are looking for an Administrator to join our team on a fixed term basis. Working with the Management team at site you will be responsible for provision of Administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site. The successful applicant should be a confident user of Microsoft Office, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive and positive approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
  • Able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
  • Able to communicate well at all levels within the business
  • Able to work confidentially and with sensitive information
  • PC Literate in Microsoft Office and excel.
  • Knowledge of Autostore and SAP would be advantageous
  • Able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Raising and obtaining approvals for purchase requisitions from senior management and procurement.
  • Tracking purchase order progress, ensuring critical path is followed and delivery schedules are achieved.
  • Dealing with all internal and external Customer’s enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Customer POD’s – To provide proof of customer deliveries, checking for discrepancies ad compiling reports to chase outstanding POD’s.
  • Provide daily delivery status orders reports to both internal and external holders.
  • Handling customer’s enquiries/queries/order updates via telephone and email.
  • Data Input – to update and maintain customer databases ensuring accurate records and data are kept up to date.
  • Manage DPD portal for parcel e-commerce orders, answering queries from the customer on deliveries.
  • Managing inbound stock orders with the client and freight forwarder.
  • Liaising extensively with clients and building successful long term business relationships.
  • Assist with note taking duties - It may be necessary to take witness statements, you will be asked to support in the note taking process.
  • Other duties as reasonably required.
  • Providing administrate support to senior management.
