Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The role of the Administrator is to provide efficient administrative support ensuring that all the paperwork/electronic processes associated with the job are completed accurately and on time. Administrative tasks, including creating sales orders, order processing, customer communication, coordinating transport and meticulous record-keeping.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Processing of purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Printing of labels and ASN, printing orders. Shipping customer collections and prioritising work for the warehouse team.
  • Running weekly and monthly reports.
  • Managing data entry for inventory systems or databases.
  • Solving picking and inbound related issues.
  • Responding and dealing with queries in the email inbox.
  • Addressing any inquiries from customers regarding the status of orders or products.
  • Answering intercom, taking in deliveries and dealing with visitors and drivers.
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with questions as appropriate or taking messages.
  • Actioning adhoc requests from team members and customers.
  • Provide administration cover for other team members during holiday periods and sickness.
  • Printing relevant documents eg. Delivery notes.
  • Communicating with external carriers or third-party logistics providers for shipping schedules and booking slots.
