POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Distribution Administrator to join our long-term client’s team. As a Distribution Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of products within our organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Distribution Administrator or in a similar role within logistics or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in managing relationships with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Distribution Administrator or in a similar role within logistics or supply chain management.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily productivity data to DC Manager for manpower utilization.
  • Responsible to release pick tickets for DC associates.
  • Provide accurate information to DC associates in terms of packing and shipping goods.
  • Co-ordinate, communicate to retail store managers on shipment volume, arrivals.
  • Manage inventory levels.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve any distribution issues.
  • Track shipment progress and communicate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage relationships with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers, and monitoring performance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records of logistics activities
  • Monitor transportation costs and suggest methods to reduce expenses.
  • Prepare shipping documents
  • Prepare report for Daily, Weekly and Monthly for both Inbound and Outbound.
