We are a reconditioned appliance store in Edmonton that rebuilds appliances, cleans them, and sells them. We are looking for laborer’s to join our team.

Role:

• Load (customers), unload (semi trailers), and move household appliances (Washers, Dryers, Fridges, Stoves, Dishwashers).
• Organizing parts and appliance inventory
• General workplace housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
• Assisting in appliance deliveries to customers houses
• Assisting technicians with repairs to appliances as required
• Cleaning and preparing appliances for sale (using tools including pressure washers)
• Answering phones and assisting customers
• If you are mechanically or customer oriented minded we look to develop our employees into technicians or sales associates
• Scheduled hours Monday - Saturday

Requirements:

• Reliable and Dependable
• Able to consistently move household appliances using appliance dollies, and hand trucks
• Able to load and unload 45 foot semi trailers of appliances
• Able to work as part of a team, and help team members with their work
• Able to take directions and work independently to accomplish goals
• Professional demeanor on the phone, with customers and other staff
• Comfortable working in a diverse team

Other skills that would help in this position (not required:

• Class 5 Driver license with an acceptable driving abstract
• Forklift and or skid steer experience is an asset
