About the Role This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to move product — efficiently, safely, and at scale. The Warehousing & Distribution Director owns all aspects of Asahi's U.S. warehousing and transportation network, from third-party logistics partners to fleet management to inventory integrity. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is based onsite in Waunakee, WI. What You'll Do Oversee all warehousing and transportation operations across Asahi's U.S. distribution network Establish and track KPIs across delivery, inventory, safety, quality, and productivity Manage internal and third-party warehousing, order processing, shipping, and inventory control Lead staffing planning, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management Develop and maintain payroll, non-payroll, and capital budgets Partner with internal teams and external logistics providers to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery Manage DOT compliance, export shipments, and corporate governance requirements Oversee WMS and TMS systems, including Octopi's Wave Reusables inventory platform Evaluate and optimize logistics contracts, transportation providers, and facility needs Drive continuous improvement across distribution processes and cost control initiatives Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually (salaried/exempt) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off & 9 paid holidays 401(k) with company match And more We are an equal opportunity employer. Requirements 8+ years of distribution or logistics management experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred Strong KPI-driven leadership mindset with a track record of operational results Experience managing third-party warehousing and transportation providers Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of DOT compliance and export shipping regulations a plus Skills & Experience That Set You Apart End-to-end warehousing and distribution network management Third-party logistics (3PL) partner management Fleet and facility management including DOT compliance Budget development and cost control Inventory integrity and cycle count management WMS/TMS systems experience Continuous improvement and change management Cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance
