DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse and Distribution Lead is responsible for optimizing our warehouse network and ensuring peak efficiency. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on operational expertise to define and implement best practices, SLAs, and KPIs with our 3PL Logistics providers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Supply Planning team to support business objectives and deliver cost-effective, high-quality service to our customers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in warehouse management, supply chain operations, or logistics, with significant strategic leadership experience.
Skills:
Strategic thinking, operational expertise, project management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with Logistics Management Systems
Familiar with Business ERP system(s) and or associated systems
Strong Excel Analytics

Demonstrate strategic vision and operational know-how.

  • Vendor Management: Build strong partnerships and manage contracts.
  • Project Leadership: Lead infrastructure upgrades and technology integration.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide warehouse management teams.
  • Budget Management: Track and manage the Cluster Logistics budget.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives – through operational excellence.
  • Ownership of Warehouse and Distribution performance metrics – e.g. cost to serve, best practices.
  • Oversight of Operational regulation and compliance – as per agreed standards.
