The Role

Reporting to the Site Leader, you'll take ownership of warehouse and distribution operations at one of their key sites. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive the safe, efficient and cost-effective movement of goods while keeping customer service front and centre.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, safely and efficiently.
  • Optimise warehouse layout, capacity, labour and inventory.
  • Manage inbound/outbound freight to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Own operational KPIs - DIFOT, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency.
  • Manage 3PL providers and freight suppliers against agreed service levels.
  • Oversee stock accuracy, traceability and pallet management.
  • Lead, develop and engage the warehouse team, including succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and food safety standards.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation against financial targets.

Your Background

You're an experienced Warehouse or Distribution Manager from FMCG or manufacturing, commercially minded and comfortable balancing efficiency, safety, service and people leadership.

You'll also bring:

  • Proven leadership of warehouse and distribution operations in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong grounding in warehouse management, inventory control and logistics.
  • Experience managing 3PLs, freight suppliers and service agreements.
  • A track record managing budgets, costs and KPIs.
  • SAP confidence and comfort running warehouse transactions through systems.
  • Working knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, stocktaking and traceability.
  • Exposure to demand planning, S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and a genuine continuous improvement mindset.
  • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management (highly regarded
