Description:
The Warehouse & Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations within our laminated panels production facility. This position oversees warehouse logistics, including forklift operations and the inventory of production materials—specifically HPL, TFL, lamination and veneer paper, and particle board—to ensure timely and accurate delivery to press operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse/inventory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Prior leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic data entry
  • Ability to interpret production schedules and align inventory plans accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with physical labor and operating material handling equipment
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production staf

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor all inbound and outbound inventory related to press materials
  • Supervise and schedule forklift drivers, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials
  • Coordinate daily staging and delivery of paper products to presses (HPL, TFL, veneer, lamination)
  • Oversee inventory counts, tracking, and reporting to maintain accuracy and reduce waste
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse space
  • Collaborate with production leads to forecast inventory needs and prevent material shortages
  • Ensure proper storage protocols for sensitive materials and board products
  • Generate inventory reports and present updates to the Director of Manufacturing, Panels Division
  • Identify and implement process improvements for material flow and warehouse efficiency
  • Assist with receiving and quality checks of incoming inventory
