JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
LOCATION: Mission Produce UK LTD, Dartford, Kent

JOB SUMMARY

The role will support the administrative operations for the transport office and control and maintain the yard , daily responsibilities will include Liaising with drivers, booking transport, unloading vehicles in the yard and keeping the yard organised

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 + years’ experience in an operations environment.
  • Counterbalance license
  • Able to work in a super-fast environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience of working under pressure in a busy and high-standard environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and deal with unexpected changes, multitask and be a strong team player.
  • Understanding of manufacturing supply chain.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional team members.
  • Understanding of Stock Management systems or ERP, examples SAP, Fresh ware, D365
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £30,000.00-£31,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the operations under their control are, as far as is reasonably practicable, conducted without detriment to the health and safety of employees or others who may be affected by their activities.
  • Ensuring that any remedial actions that are beyond their scope of authorisation are brought to the attention of their immediate line manager without any delay.
  • Take reasonable care of their Health & Safety and others and report all Health & Safety concerns, unsafe situations and practices as well as comply with and support the health & Safety processes and procedures applied on site. Booking transport and collating paperwork
  • Collating documentation of collections and arrivals
  • Hiring and de-hiring of trays and pallets
  • Check transport invoices against dispatches.
  • Organizing waste collections as required
  • Keeping track of consumables inventory
  • Goods in, unloading and physical checks of deliveries against paperwork+
  • Planning and control of all yard activities and efficient space allocation
  • Conducting additional ad-hoc duties and reasonable management requests as may be required.
