JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery leads the Craft Beer Revolution in Ontario. Brewing radical Beers and creative Ales right on the waterfront in downtown Barrie since 2004. In our 35HL brewhouse we brew 2 times a day, 5 days a week (or more!) along with centrifuge runs, and packaging.
We are currently in the market for a new Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team which would include daily tasks including, but not limited to: (Full-time hours: 40 hours/week)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven experience (typically 3+ years) managing teams in logistics or warehouse environments.
· Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of warehouse management systems, logistics software, and best practices.
· Ability to learn and optimize our in-house ERP system.
· Strong communication abilities for interacting with team members, management, and external partners.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise, organize, and train warehouse staff, including daily management of receiving, handling, storing, and packing activities.
· Oversee and coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers or facilities.
· Maintain inventory accuracy by managing stock levels and coordinating regular stock counts and inventory audits.
· Implement and optimize warehouse operations systems and logistics processes, including product handling, storage, and equipment utilization and develop SOPs to maintain consistency with all staff.
· Develop and enforce health, safety, and security standards and legal compliance within the warehouse in collaboration with JHSC committee.
· Prepare work schedules, analyze workflows, delegate tasks, and manage the use of space and equipment.
· Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
· Maintain records of warehouse activities, generate reports, and develop actionable plans for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
· Collaborate with supply chain partners and other departments for seamless logistics operations.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

· Supervise and schedule warehouse staff, allocate work, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
· Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
· Coordinate with transport providers and internal departments.
· Inspect warehouse equipment and ensure routine maintenance.
· Identify areas for operational improvement and implement process enhancements.

Pay: From $25.50 per hour
