JOB SUMMARY

Here at The Cocktail Lab, we have a new vacancy for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to help our growing company coordinate the drivers for delivery and collection of events, manage the stock of a small warehouse, and buy and negotiate with suppliers to buy.
The successful candidate must possess:
- Great knowledge of English (Fluent);
- Elevate attention to details;
- Previous experience in organising deliveries and collections;
- Ability to work under pressure during busy times (normally during June, July and December);
- Great skills to plan in advance and for the long run.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to supervise teams effectively.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in logistics management or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and their application in enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Experience in supervising teams and managing personnel within a logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems and their role in optimising delivery routes and schedules.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to profit loss analysis and operational performance metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive improvements in logistics processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a logistics plan for the week based on the events we have. The key would be to maximise the delivery & collection process of our events.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to get fresh fruits, ice and ingredients.
  • Getting in touch with clients to discuss logistics options and, based on this, developing a weekly plan for the team.
  • Monitor stock. Advise the Sales team on stock that needs to be used. Place orders before the stock runs out, trying to get the best deal from suppliers.
  • Supervise warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient workflow.
  • Checking the state of bars and scheduling team members to fix any problems.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Analyse business processes related to logistics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and purchase more glassware & equipment if we are running out.
  • Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes.
