About ReLove

ReLove is a social and environmental charity that rescues excess furniture and household items and puts them back into the hands of people who need them most.

We've created a free furniture store for women impacted by domestic violence and people rebuilding their lives after homelessness, where they can choose great-quality furniture, household goods and everything they need to start again. Our team then delivers it all within days and helps set up each client's new home, so the move out of crisis is as smooth as possible.

We source furniture and household items at scale from corporate relocations, hotel refurbishments, businesses with excess stock and the wider community. ReLove currently partners with over 100 charities across Greater Sydney, and in the last twelve months alone we furnished the homes of 980 families – including 1,400 children – impacted by domestic violence and homelessness.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader to lead the day-to-day running of our Alexandria-based warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of everything ReLove does. You will coordinate drivers and warehouse staff, manage rosters, organise daily truck runs and make sure the right team is in the right place at the right time.

You will make sure the team works safely and effectively, trucks are loaded correctly and leave on schedule, deliveries run efficiently, and warehouse priorities are clear.

Working closely with our Inventory Manager, you’ll support accurate inventory processes by ensuring stock is barcoded, the right items are prepared for delivery, and the team is supporting inventory operations across our Alexandria warehouse and other ReLove sites.

This role would suit someone who is process-driven, enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, keeping people organised and making sure the day runs smoothly - while playing a direct role in helping families rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team: Coordinate drivers, warehouse staff and volunteers to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Own the daily run sheet: Manage rosters, truck runs and team allocation to keep the day on track.
  • Keep trucks moving: Ensure trucks are correctly loaded, on time and ready for efficient deliveries.
  • Drive warehouse flow: Set clear priorities and keep stock moving from warehouse to client.
  • Support inventory accuracy: Work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure stock is barcoded, prepared and ready for delivery.
  • Keep it safe: Lead by example and maintain a safe, organised and productive workplace.
  • Work across sites: Support smooth warehouse and delivery operations across Alexandria and other ReLove storage locations.

What You’ll Bring

You’re organised, reliable and confident taking ownership in a busy, hands-on operational environment and you have a safety first mindset. You know how to lead from the floor, giving clear direction, holding people accountable and jumping in when the team needs you.

You'll bring:

  • Team Leadership skills in warehouse, logistics, delivery or similar frontline operations.
  • Strong rostering and scheduling skills and the ability to keep people and trucks moving.
  • Great organisation and attention to detail, with a practical, can-do approach.
  • Confidence managing performance, attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear direction.
  • A safety-first mindset, including an understanding of warehouse and manual handling requirements.
  • Full-time working rights and a current Australian car drivers licence.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in furniture, removals and bulky-goods delivery
  • Forklift licence
  • Certificate III or IV in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics or Warehousing

Why Join ReLove?

  • Be part of a small, passionate team making a tangible difference in the lives of women and families escaping domestic violence and homelessness
  • See the direct impact of your work every day – no red tape, just real outcomes for real people
  • Competitive salary package of $75,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation and salary packaging.
  • A genuinely values-driven workplace with a strong sense of purpose and community
