WAREHOUSE AND PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Location: Profoot, Penfold Industrial Park, Imperial Way, Watford, Herts, WD24 4YY
Hourly Rate: £10.00 – £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Full time
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 4pm

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Reporting to the Warehouse and Production Manager, you’ll play an essential role in helping with the smooth running of both warehouse and production tasks across Profoot and Link3 Ltd. This is a varied and active role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork, and takes pride in doing a great job.:

WAREHOUSE DUTIES:

  • Accurately pick, pack and dispatch products to meet quality and service standards.
  • Load and unload deliveries, checking goods against paperwork.
  • Store and rotate stock following company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Assist with stock takes, inventory updates, and database accuracy.
  • Process stock returns and prepare stock for dispatch.

PRODUCTION DUTIES:

  • Assemble and pack products on the production line according to specifications.
  • Prepare components and packaging materials for production.
  • Ensure quality control checks are carried out on finished goods.
  • Keep workstations clean, tidy, and well-organised.
  • Follow all production procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Flag any product or machinery issues to the line manager.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure efficient operations by following set processes and schedules.
  • Communicate clearly with managers, directors, and team members.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times and report concerns.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during absence.
  • Support the team in achieving operational targets and deadlines.
  • Carry out any other duties to support the effective running of the warehouse and production areas.
