We’re looking for a second shift Warehouse Assembly Distribution Specialist who takes pride in their work and understands the value of teamwork on the floor. This role involves fast-pace picking, packaging, and labeling of finished goods to fulfil orders while meeting customer quality expectations and delivery dates. Additionally, you'll be responsible for replenishing warehouse racks with finished goods and implementing 5S throughout the work areas and warehouse locations. This position is eligible for up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus and up to a 15% pre-tax profit share paid quarterly—because when the team succeeds, everyone shares in the results. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to read and understand orders receipts and visual work instructions to pack or stage orders. Accurately packs all finished products for shipments. (Band gaylords and totes or wrap totes) Comfortable using RF scanner to preform barcode system, such as transactions related to pulling orders, inventory for assembly, shipping, and finished goods. Accurately issue and return materials/finished goods into inventory system using the barcode scanning system. Pull/returns finished goods, hardware, and other components to warehouse Pull/stage shipping loads accurately and safely using a forklift. Put finished goods, hardware, and other components from drop zone back in warehouse. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses Make sure Warehouse aisles are clear and accessible Regularly communicates with supervisor regarding outgoing/pending shipping orders. Assists in loading or unloading trucks as needed. Ability to safely operates a forklift and maintain certification. Participate and promote 5S procedures and practices. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Minimum Experience Required Previous picking, packing, 2yrs on forklift, RF Scanner, and warehouse experience. License or Certificate Required The ability to pass forklift certification training at Hampel Corp.
Responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for picking, packing, and labeling finished goods to fulfill customer orders while maintaining warehouse inventory. They also operate forklifts to stage shipping loads and ensure the warehouse remains organized and compliant with 5S standards.
