About The Job

• Ensure that all duties assigned are carried out according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company.
• Perform loading, unloading, picking, packaging and packaging and / shrink wrapping of orders as per the standards stipulated as may be required from time to time.
• Perform other ‘load lifting’ activities as may be required and in a safe manner.
• Ensure that work instructions from superiors are carefully followed.
• Ensure that goods are handled into, within and out of the warehouse in a manner which will not cause damage to the goods, to the warehouse or to the delivery vehicles.

• Report any misconduct by contractors / drivers on site immediately.
• Always uphold the image of the company.
• Ensure that adequate safety equipment and uniforms are always worn when in the warehouse and / or yard.
• Report all accidents / incidents / damages or near accidents / incidents / damages immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
• Conduct stock checks and reconciliations as may be required from time to time.
• Must be willing to work overtime as may be required from time to time
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time
• Other additional responsibilities will be advised by your direct supervisor/manager.
• Execute assigned tasks in compliant manner following internal SOP’s and GDP training
• Demonstrate constructive approach to Continues Improvement Process (CIP).
• In addition to your specific job responsibilities, you may be called upon to carry out specific assignments for the supervisor or manager.
• You are responsible for complying with the HWL Health and safety management systems policies and procedures applicable to employees.
• You are responsible for knowing your health and safety responsibilities as per the UAE health and safety regulations and complying them throughout the duration of your work, not limited to:
• Always take sufficient care of yourself and your fellow workers.
• Always wear the personal protective equipment provided to you during work.
• Do not misuse any equipment or anything provided in the name of safety.
• Report incidents and equipment faults to your supervisor.
• Always follow instructions given by your supervisor.
