JOB OVERVIEW

Create Compounding Pharmacy is looking for an exceptional Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team!
We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that expanded into a new world-class facility in Port Coquitlam area in October of 2022. This position is for a Warehouse Assistant who will work with the compounding lab and call centre team to provide high-level customer service. Our facility is fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and offers sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in warehouse distribution or pharmacy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

    Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Packages deliveries according to handling requirements and storage conditions.
  • Collaborates with pharmacy staff, customers, and third-party logistics partners to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Enters clients’ information and prescription details in databases.
  • Manages delivery inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Packs and label non-sterile and sterile products according to established protocols.
  • Receives all medications and ingredients, checks the inventory for accuracy, and places orders for necessary supplies to support pharmacy operations.
  • Creates a profile for each client in ShipStation and enters the corresponding prescription (RX) numbers.
  • Reviews all prescriptions and orders and communicates any discrepancies or errors to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Compounding all types of non-sterile compounds - creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, capsules, etc.
  • Provides assistance with other pharmacy-related duties in other departments as needed;
  • Receives, organizes, packs, and sends deliveries efficiently through various couriers;
  • Collaborates with pharmacy staff, customers, and third-party logistics partners to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service;
  • Manages delivery inquiries professionally and efficiently.
