As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for warehousing activities including loading and unloading, sampling of incoming materials, account physical receipt from vendors/suppliers, accurate issuance of materials to Production teams and perform timely outbound deliveries. You will assure and maintain a continuous effective support in the daily warehousing, production and supply chain operation, implicating the support to the production output.The Position:

  • Perform and account for physical receipt of materials from vendors/ suppliers.
  • To perform sampling of incoming materials and timely put away to designated storage.
  • Carry out timely and accurate picking & issuance of materials to productions as required.
  • Prepare and carry out the materials transfer to 3PL.
  • To liaise operation between productions and warehouse/ 3PL.
  • To liaise with other departments as and when required.
  • Prepare and execute timely outbound deliveries.
  • Ensure and carry out timely and accurate system inventory transactions.
  • Ensure compliance of rules and regulations stated by the organization.

(e.g. GMP, HACCP, ISO90001, ISO140001, ISO45001 & any other Company Policies)

  • Perform periodic cycle count/ stock take.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and good workplace safety practices.
  • To support any ad-hoc assignment as and when given.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least a GCE N/O Level, or its equivalent certification.
  • Working experience in relevant industry will be an advantage.
  • Must possess a valid forklift licence.
  • Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy load up to 25kg.
  • Must be comfortable working in a strong-smelling environment.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel & Emails).
  • Knowledge with SAP an added advantage.
  • Willing to work on shifts, overtime, weekend/ public holidays when required.
  • A team player, independent and meticulous.
  • Committed and a team player.
