Description POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse assists in maintaining the company’s warehouses, grounds, product inventory, and tool and equipment inventory. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Inventory Assists with the organization and maintenance of the company’s warehouses. Helps keep a constant eye on product inventory so that the company always has the products it needs for scheduled jobs. Assists with the Tool Room’s organization and maintenance. Helps keep a constant eye on tool and equipment inventory so that the company always has the tools and equipment it needs for scheduled jobs. Maintenance Keeps the warehouse clean. Assists with the company’s grounds maintenance. Helps with building maintenance issues. Team Player Helps production crews by coordinating the delivery of products and tools to job sites as needed. Assists with the preparation of the company facilities for on-site events. Loans and unload service and delivery and production trucks. Purpose, Mission, and Values Lives out the company’s purpose, mission, and values. INDIRECT REPORTS If the Warehouse Foreman: Warehouse Assistants Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of inventory, procurement, and warehousing. Ability to life or move up to 100 lb. on a regular basis. Ability to stay upright/stand the majority of the time Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level. Skill in operating a personal computer and programs, and ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a screen. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. High school diploma or GED preferred and 1+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or inventory management OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field. Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.
