Description

Thank you for your interest in joining our team! QVC Group, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company with six leading retail brands – QVC®, HSN®, Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Garnet Hill® and Grandin Road®. We are a live social shopping company that redefines the shopping experience through video-driven commerce on every screen, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and TVs.
QVC Group brings innovative products, compelling content, and unforgettable moments to millions of shoppers worldwide via social platforms, streaming apps, ecommerce sites and TV channels, making every screen a doorway to discovery, delight and community.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Chiswick Park, on a one year fixed term contract. It’s a diverse role. Each week we feature hundreds of products on TV and on our website and social media channels; products which range from beauty to clothing, from kitchenware to garden products.
These products travel down from our Knowsley site to Chiswick Park, and when they arrive they need to be sorted, stored and then prepped for the live shows. Don’t worry, you don’t need to figure this out on your own, you’ll use computer systems to help track and store items, and be given plans provided by our production team to let you know what item is needed when. However, it is down to you to ensure that the right clothes are available for a show, in the right place and in tip-top condition and ready for their close up.
The role is based onsite Monday to Friday between 09.00 - 17.30
Who We Are
QVC empowers shoppers with knowledge and shares insights in a lively, engaging way. We offer an ever-changing collection of familiar brands and fresh new products – from home and fashion to beauty, electronics and jewellery – and we connect shoppers to interesting personalities, engaging stories and award-winning customer service.
QVC International brings the QVC shopping experience to millions of people in Germany, Austria, Japan, the U.K., Ireland and Italy. QVC International reaches 124 million homes via 10 television networks and reaches millions more via multiple streaming services, websites, mobile apps and social pages. QVC International has team members in the U.K., Germany, Japan, Italy, Poland and China.

Your Impact

  • You will talk to lots of different people from several teams, so you will need to communicate well.
  • You’ll also need to be organised too, to keep track of all those items.
  • You will need to be able to solve problems, so that if an item isn’t where it’s supposed to be (not that this happens a lot), you can step in and save the day.

What You Bring

  • We’re open to candidates from all backgrounds, so you don’t necessarily need you to have worked in a Warehouse before, but a have a knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • You’ll need to have GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, and be able to find your way around a computer.
