ROLE OVERVIEW
Intelligent Servers is a leading provider of refurbished IT hardware, specialising in HP, Dell and Cisco. We are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative and cost-effective technology solutions to our customers.
We are looking for a Goods In Technician to join our secure and growing business based in Harrogate. As a Goods In Technician, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and booking-in of incoming IT hardware. Reporting to the Goods In Manager and working alongside a Warehouse based team of almost 20 staff, you will receive full training and support to ensure that you have all the skills you need to develop a career with us.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Booking in stock accurately and efficiently
· Confidently testing the following components with training;
o CPUs
o DIMMs
o PCIe cards
o PSUs
o RAID controllers and batteries
· Following company ‘standard operating procedures’ documents
· Checking POs are correct on arrival;
o Cross checking the content of inbound deliveries, when they arrive, with any open POs on internal systems to determine which PO the hardware belongs to
o Checking the full content to ensure the hardware is correct in part numbers and quantity, and is cosmetically sound
o Reporting any issues back to the Purchaser
· Confidently navigating and using internal systems
· Locating stock in the warehouse
· Identifying and escalating issues to management as they arise
· Manual handling of hardware
