Nature of Work: The Warehouse Assistant at Major League Fishing (MLF) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, including property maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of inventory management, and property maintenance skills to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations. Examples of Work Performed: * Assist in the receiving, storing and distributing of inventory. * Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks. * Prepare and process orders for shipment. * Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and safe. * Routine upkeep and handyman tasks, including, but not limited to, minor structural repairs, painting, drywall patching and bulb/fixture replacements. * Grounds care, including, but not limited to, tree and shrub pruning, gutter cleaning and seasonal cleanups. * Systems Management, including, but not limited to, coordinating with service professionals on plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns. * Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. * Assist operations team in the setup and breakdown of event materials and equipment. * Additional duties as assigned. Working Conditions & Physical Demands: * Warehouse Environment * Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily Qualifications: * Minimum: * High School Diploma or GED. * 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management. * Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management. * Proficiency in handyman skills and use of related tools. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software. * Preferred: * Certification or additional training in warehouse management. * Certification or additional training in construction trades or related disciplines. * Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
