Description:
Aluminum Associates is a leading provider of exterior home renovation products and services for London and the surrounding area. We sell and install vinyl siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, steel and fiberglass entry doors, vinyl patio doors and windows. A family-owned business, Aluminum Associates has been in business for over 60 years. We are excited to add an Assistant Warehouse Manager to our warehouse team.
In the position of Assistant Warehouse Manager you will perform the following duties:
- Perform testing, adjusting and repairs of eavestrough and roof panel machinery
- Travel to client’s site to service eavestrough and roof panel machines
- Assist Warehouse Manager in their duties, supervise warehouse team
- Manage loading and offloading of deliveries
- Driving a company vehicle (5-ton box truck, cube van, pick-up truck), deliver orders to the job site or pick up products from our suppliers (in Southwestern Ontario or Toronto area)
- Maintain a safe work environment for the warehouse team
- Oversee and inspect receiving of all deliveries
- Pick customer orders in warehouse
- Handle cash transactions, when necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicant must be mechanically inclined, with strong troubleshooting skill set.
- Ability to drive a cube van or 5 ton box truck.
- Previous warehouse experience an asset.
- A “G” class drivers license.
- Before hiring, a driver’s abstract and Police Information Check will be required.
- All applicants must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Green patch work boots are also needed.
- Ability to legally travel to the US.
Our warehouse and showroom are open Monday to Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 12 (no evenings or Sundays). After 6 months of employment, we offer company-paid, health, dental and life insurance benefits, and a work boot & clothing subsidies.
