Title:                Warehouse Assistant Supervisor:     Procurement & Warehouse Manager Department:  Procurement & Warehouse FLSA Status:    Non-Exempt Hourly   Summary/Objective We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant who will support the day-to-day operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will assist with the record keeping, safety, and reliability of our inventory.   Essential Functions includes assisting in the following: 1. Stock Replenishment * Tracking inventory levels and ensuring stocks are readily available. * Preparing Stock Replenishment Requests. * Liaising with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Trucking, Accounting, and Requestor’s representatives.    1. Receiving/Pickup of Items * Verifying delivered items against Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Delivery Receipts. * Operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely. * Coordinating pickup of ordered items when needed.   1. Releasing of Inventory Items * Reviewing and ensuring approval of requested items by the Project Lead. * Preparing requested inventory items. * Informing requestors about item availability. * Ensuring items for release are in good condition, complete, and properly packaged for safe travel   1. Returned Items * Receiving, storing, and recording returned items. * Making returned items available in the inventory.   1. Reports * Assist in maintaining detailed records of received and delivered items, including product data, specifications, material/safety data sheets, certifications, Warehouse Forms., etc. * Maintaining an Inventory Tracking File. * Assisting in performing monthly inventory to verify on-hand stocks. * Assist in investigating discrepancies between physical counts and computer records, implementing corrective action plans.                   1. Additional tasks and responsibilities:  * Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are followed. * Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse facility.   Competencies - Can operate Forklift and drive a vehicle (pick-up truck) - Bachelors Degree preferred - Proven experience in Warehouse operation of at least 6 months  - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites -    Physical Demands[WD1] [LA2]  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
