Our Warehouse and logistics teams are critical in ensuring stock gets to our customers in a timely manner and is accurate… the integrity of our stock starts with you! About the role: With its long-standing history in the equine industry, Total Animal Supplies aims to deliver fast and efficient service to their customers and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant with an interest of customer delivery to join our Ballarat Warehouse team. Your daily duties will involve but will not be limited to: Picking, Packing & Dispatching of orders to a high standard and pick rate. Assist with all stock control processes, including receiving inwards goods, cycle counts etc. Work with the team to achieve stock integrity through stock replenishment, date expiry checks, stocktakes etc Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles, and using other equipment as necessary such as forklift (if licensed) Secure cargo for transport, using straps, gates, or covers Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including daily housekeeping initiatives. General warehouse duties as directed Manual labour & repetitive lifting throughout your shift Our ideal candidate will have: Previous warehouse experience in a similar role A strong work ethic, being reliable & punctual A current forklift license is ideal Strong accountability, taking ownership in finding solutions The proficiency to work unsupervised and as part of a friendly, passionate, and successful team.
