OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our busy joinery workshop team based in Orpington, Kent. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in working within a wood manufacturing or workshop environment. Perfect role for someone fairly local.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a workshop or construction environment preferred, but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player
• Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)

• General cleaning and upkeep of the workshop to maintain a safe and tidy working environment
• Assisting with the maintenance and basic cleaning of machinery and tools
• Offloading and unpacking deliveries of timber, hardware, and other materials
• Wrapping and loading orders for delivery
• Supporting skilled joiners with manual tasks as required
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
• Occasional deliveries using company vehicle
