We are now looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a Warehouse Assistant to support our continued growth.

JOB SUMMARY

Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistant to help maintain the smooth running of our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by processing customer returns, managing stock levels, processing deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock counts, as well as supporting the picking and packing of orders. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and handle bulky items safely.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use stock management and database systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
  • Forklift licence (desirable).
  • Any qualifications related to electronics or the security industry are beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to facilitate the movement of materials.
  • Utilise a warehouse management system (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
  • Perform picking & packing duties for outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly selected and securely packaged.
  • Assist in the stocking of shelves and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
