Our commitment to our Core Values—People First, Do Right, Go Beyond, Always Improve, & Let’s Go!—drives our success as we support residential and commercial flooring contractors, builders, and retailers across 16 states.   Position Summary We are immediately seeking a Warehouse Associate on the 1st shift to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring orders are going out for deliveries in a timely manner.    Branch: All Tile CCS in Wood Dale Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm Pay: $20/hr   Responsibilities * Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders. * Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations. * Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process. * Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment. * Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes. * Assist the branch in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness. * Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport. * Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport. Qualifications Education & Experiences * High School diploma or equivalent degree. * Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment. * Must be able to provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction. * Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output. * Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results. * Must be able to regularly lift over 75 lbs. Other Qualifications * Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification. * Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry is a plus. * Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety. * Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening. * Legally permitted to work in the United States.
