Job Details Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Job Category: Warehouse Job Title: Warehouse Associate Company: Rampart Supply Location: Colorado Springs Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm This position will remain open until 12/31/2025, or until the position is filled, whichever is later. Brief Position Summary: As part of the Rampart Supply distribution team, your efforts will help increase operational efficiency and impact customer satisfaction and retention by accurately and safely processing of incoming and outgoing orders. This position performs a variety of Inbound, Outbound, and Support functions as assigned by your Supervisor. These functions may include (but are not limited to) Receiving, Put Away, Order Picking, Order Staging and Shipping, completing Replenishments, Cycle Counts, perform Location Maintenance, or Utility Functions such as Housekeeping or Grounds / Facility Maintenance. Benefits, perks, and unique ways we support our employee’s well-being: Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits to full-time employees Options for different medical plans to fit various needs, including a premium plan and a low-cost high deductible plan with HSA 401k with company match Discretionary profit sharing Company paid long-term disability plan and company-paid life insurance Paid Time Off, company awards, and wellness program that includes a gym reimbursement Uniform reimbursements for Warehouse and Driver positions, and a clothing allowance for exclusive, Rampart-branded clothing each year Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Responsibilities & Duties: Primary: Unload Trucks / Vehicles, use Eclipse to detail receive and stage items Receive products into inventory Receive inbound POs and warehouse transfers daily keeping an organized receiving bay Receive and put away inbound FedEx/UPS shipments Utilize an organized process to transfer product from the receiving bay to the put away bay daily Put away inbound POs and warehouse transfers daily keeping an organized put away bay Troubleshoot product issues if possible and communicate discrepancies to inventory control Verify items received by inspecting condition of items Compare counting/measuring of items to purchase order and packing list and note discrepancies Record amounts of items received or distributed Promptly notifying returns staff with appropriate information regarding returns (e.g. vendor, customer/job, overage/shortage, type of damage) Update inventory counts Utilize an organized process to transfer product from the receiving bay to the put away bay daily Use Eclipse to Locate and Put Away items to a Primary or Shelf Location. Conduct replenishments as assigned according to the replenishment report Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with Rampart’s safety program Use Eclipse to Assign Various Order Types (KC, OT, OTT, MTR), Pick, Stage, Ship the Order as Required. Observe all order notes and fulfill order as detailed in the SO Pull materials and/or assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping areas Pack or re-pack boxes, palletize orders, bundle and/or band pipe, shrink wrap pallets/crates Meet customer’s specifications Verify identifying information and quantity and condition of items Promptly complete shipping documents Analyze delivery routes, box, pallet, and materials sizes, customer location, customer preference for efficient, effective, and safe handling, transport, and unloading of deliveries Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported and unloaded Maintain a clean work area (cleaning as you go) Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor Operate in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures As required: Yard maintenance Wear the proper safety equipment Complete Replenishments, Cycle Counts, Maintain Locations, Complete Housekeeping tasks, assist in Building and Area Maintenance as assigned. Keep shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; remove debris, sweep, dust and mop Assist in organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Ensure supplies and equipment are in good condition Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor Qualifications Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years previous work experience; warehouse experience preferred Forklift certification preferred Physical Requirements: Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, bend over, push or pull, grasp, and carry, move or lift 1-50lbs Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to reach overhead, crouch, or kneel Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to sit, crawl, climb, balance, and carry, move, or lift 51-100+ lbs To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
