REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (non-repetitive tasks)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of material handling technology and warehouse machinery
• Understanding of inventory control and warehouse safety procedures
• Comfortable using computers for labelling, inventory, and tracking
• A collaborative, team-first attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete shipping documentation and determine transportation methods
• Prepare and label shipping materials; consolidate skids for shipping efficiency
• Verify incoming shipments using bills of lading and authorize accepted material
• Follow procedures for receiving and documenting damaged materials
• Maintain logs and records of received goods
• Determine stocking locations using supplier codes and assign temporary locations for non-stock items
• Perform spot-checks and report discrepancies to supervisors
• Pick and sort tickets for priority, bulk, or prep items; select items using intelligent codes
• Operate forklifts or reach trucks in accordance with safety procedures
• Verify products and quantities picked for accuracy
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Conduct equipment checks and pre-shift inspections
• Act as backup at the front counter; answer phones, take orders, and cut wire as needed
