Description Warehouse Associate $17 Smyrna, TN Description American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company currently seeking motivated individuals to assist our Smyrna, TN, location with the manual loading and unloading of containers. Duties will include but are not limited to sorting retail merchandise by store number, building, wrapping, and staging of pallets. Warehouse experience is preferred. Willing to train. Apply today!! Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store, break down totes) Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Report any discrepancies Effective communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening excellent problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and organizational abilities Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Other duties as assigned Schedule: Sunday through Friday: -1st Shift 6am - 1:30pm (could potentially be an hour more) -2nd Shift 1pm - Finish (usually around 9pm) Saturday: Closed Peak Schedule: 6 days a week *** 7/8 hour OR until Finish *** Weekly pay $17.00/hr. (weekly pay) Benefits: Health Insurance- after 30 days PTO- (accrual starts from day 1 but cannot be used until day 90) 401K- after 180 days (6 months) On-Demand Pay Requirements What You'll Do: Load and unload products safely and efficiently This position requires lots of walking and being on your feet for long periods of time Consistently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift Accurately scan and document inventory Lead by example to motivate and support team members Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment MUST HAVE STEEL-TOE SHOES What We’re Looking For: Quick learner with a strong work ethic Ability to stand, walk, and lift for long periods Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude Strong communication skills — must be able to read, understand, and speak English Ability to work well in a team environment Previous warehouse cross dock
