Description

Power-Flo Technologies is now hiring a full-time warehouse associate / backup driver to join our New Hyde Park team! Full-Time. Monday - Friday. Daytime Hours. Salary Range: $17 - $20/hour This position involves warehouse responsibilities with driving duties (16 - 18 foot box trucks) as needed. Benefits: * Medical, Dental and Vision plans * PTO Program * Paid Holidays * 401K Key Responsibilities : * Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving (as needed), organizing etc. * Pull and stage orders for shipment * Organize Inventory * Cycle Count * Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles * Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicle (box trucks and vans) * Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders (as needed) Requirements : * Box Truck experience required (16-18 ft or larger). No CDL required. * Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required) * 1+ years of warehouse experience required * Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management. * Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification * Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds * Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies * Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn * Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Forklift experience a plus * Experience with UPS, DHL, and/or FedEx a plus * Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
