Description JOB SUMMARY A Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading, picking and staging material for jobs using established AWC protocols, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. They must be able to work in a team environment with the Warehouse Manager, Subcontractors, VP of Cabinets, Account Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Installation Managers by constant communication and adherence to Atlanta West policies and work flow procedures. Accuracy of picking orders for load out is vital. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Unload materials from shipments using hand truck daily • Unload and deliver material to jobsites • Check in material • Stage material for jobs • Load crews using hand trucks • Pick trim for jobs • Clean work area daily • Daily inventory spot checks • Maintain Dumpster area • Maintain equipment • Operate cardboard bailer • Exhibit Ownership Behaviors at all times SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. · None Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
