QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse experience considered an asset.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities
  • During the employees 8 hour shift they are expected to be capable of performing the following tasks repetitively throughout the day: lifting heavy loads (Up to 75 lbs), climbing up and down stairs and ladders to reach goods, pulling and / or pushing wheeled carts or floor jacks with goods, and working on their feet
  • Pick orders paying particular attention to detail
  • Double check orders, post invoices, box orders as required (label boxes and piece count)
  • Mix paint
  • Pick, double check, skid branch transfers
  • Pick all orders by days end
  • Effectively communicate problems or issues to the Warehouse Coordinator
  • Advise counter staff of back orders
  • Participate in bi-weekly perpetual counts
  • Assist receiver and shipper as required
  • Advise receiver when shelf stock is getting low to allow enough time for restocking
  • Maintain a tidy work environment both inside and outside the premises. This includes but is not limited to emptying garbage at the end of the day, sweeping, pouring off paint, tidying stock shelves, etc.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner in all dealings with all staff
  • Follow all established company policies and procedures
  • Any other job-related duties as required or assigned
