SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Grade 12 education or GED equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with bar-coding software an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent internal/external customer orientation and good teamwork skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Accounting for goods arriving and leaving the warehouse through an acceptable inventory tracking procedure (i.e. invoice, order, job cost invoice, approved picklist, inventory transfer);
  • Ordering and tracking parts from various suppliers based on inventory levels and anticipated orders in the system;
  • Coordinating the shipment of finished goods to operating brands and worksites;
  • Picking orders from an authorized company picklist, pick ticket, order or invoice;
  • Monitoring stock levels and communicating lead times to appropriate departments when stock is low or if there are product delays or shortages;
  • Following established inventory control practices for inter-company, and inter-department inventory transfers;
  • Receiving all goods in a timely fashion that reflects the demands of inventory control procedures;
  • Bar-coding all goods before entering into stock locations;
  • Storing and staging all goods in designated stock locations;
  • Participate in regularly scheduled cycle and year-end inventory counts;
