Our commitment to our Core Values—People First, Do Right, Go Beyond, Always Improve, & Let’s Go!—drives our success as we support residential and commercial flooring contractors, builders, and retailers across 16 states.   Position Summary We are immediately seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate/Counter Sales Representative to support the warehouse and store with operational excellence. Fulfill logistical needs in processing, store inventory, picking orders, ensuring orders are going out for deliveries, customer service, and counter service.   Branch: Walcro in Cedar Rapids, IA Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Pay: $18-$20/hr depending on experience    Responsibilities * Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders. * Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations. * Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process. * Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment. * Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes. * Assist the Branch Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness. * Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport. * Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport. * Provide customer service to customers with a proactive sales approach. * Properly enter bids, quotes, and orders for customers, managers, and outside sales personnel. * Take telephone sales and provide information services for customers and outside sales personnel. * Restock, clean, and organize shelves in the showroom. * Follow the proper opening and closing procedures. * Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift. * Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Qualifications Education & Experiences * High School diploma or equivalent degree. * Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment. * 1-3 years of experience in a customer service environment. * Able to perform basic math skills and reading comprehension. * Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output. * Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results. * Must be able to regularly lift over 75Ibs. Other Qualifications * Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification. * Experience in the flooring industry is a plus. * Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety. * Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening. * Legally permitted to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
Manage warehouse logistics including picking, packing, and loading customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy. Provide proactive customer service and sales support at the counter and via telephone.
