We are a growing retail home furnishings and appliance company with a fast-paced but stable work environment. City Furniture & Appliances was founded in 1976 in Prince George, BC, and has grown to 26 locations — each one locally owned and family-run.

We’re looking for energetic, reliable people to join our warehouse and delivery team in Kamloops.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Shipping and receiving trucks
• Organizing and maintaining warehouse space
• Preparing items for the showroom floor
• Preparing orders for customer pick-up
• Delivering products to customers’ homes
• Inventory management, including counting, tracking, and reporting stock levels
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s licence (5 ton & 3 ton truck experience an asset)
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs
• Must own CSA-approved steel toe shoes
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an asset
• Comfort using basic computer systems and warehouse software for inventory management
• Long-haul/short-haul driving experience considered a bonus (earn extra $$)
