Job Details Job Location: Sedalia, MO Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Job Summary Warehouse Associates perform a wide variety of tasks that lead to the daily success of Crescent Parts & Equipment. As a Driver, you will represent a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler by providing precision and excellent customer service in your daily deliveries to our customers in the Sedalia, Marshall, Carrollton, Clinton, and Warrensburg areas. We are looking for a motivated, career-minded individual to help us deliver the quality products our customers need. There will also be some limited warehouse duties (filling orders, stocking inventory, etc.). Driving/delivery approximately 80% of the job, and warehouse duties approximately 20% of the job. Responsibilities Driver Transport products efficiently and effectively (28’ Box Truck) Load and unload the truck Deliver orders to customers with outstanding accuracy and exceptional customer service Inventory & Cycle Counting Maintain accurate inventory and proper bin locations on all stocked items Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to manage stock levels, non-stock inventory, and unavailable inventory. Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies Shipping & Receiving Oversee/Conduct the shipping, receiving, and delivery of purchase orders, products, and warehouse transfers Load/unload trucks and make customer deliveries when necessary Branch Upkeep & Safety Ensure all areas of the branch/store are kept clean, orderly, and safe Keep all catalogs, books, product literature, and store displays orderly and up to date Qualifications Experience & Qualifications Class E Driver’s License Previous driving or delivery experience Clean driving record Ability to pay close attention to details Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely, and pass yearly safety test Mechanical aptitude a plus Capable of dealing quickly with changing priorities and demands Ability to interpret shipping documents, packing slips, invoices, computer-generated ordering, and inventory documents to maintain accurate records Ability to work as a team or on your own, when applicable Education High school diploma or GED required, additional certification or coursework from a college or technical school desirable Physical Demands Work can involve lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds Warehouse locations may not have central air conditioning Work may involve standing and/or sitting for extended periods Benefits We also offer an exceptional benefits package to our people, including: Rich and affordable medical and dental plans HSA plan with employer contribution Free coverage for Vision Insurance Free Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, EAP, Identity Theft 401(k) with company match and profit sharing Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid Holidays Quarterly bonus for all employees based on company performance Wellness program And more!
