About the role The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all activities in the warehouse related to the receiving, stocking, and delivering materials to the local installation crews. Responsible for maintaining organization and inventory accuracy. Working with little-to-no supervision while managing all warehouse operations according to standards and best practices. What you'll do Maintain an organized and standard warehouse inventory and equipment setup according to Warehouse Operations standards and best practices. Responsible for the safety and security of warehouse inventory and equipment. Maintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materials. Responsible for managing all material movement through the warehouse. Operates the forklift to unload shipments, process receipts, and stock the shelves. Pick and package all materials for the Installation Team daily. Work closely with the Service and Installation Teams to manage all materials, documentation, and RMA processing for service and warranty projects. All orders are to be kept ready in the “Staging Zone” for the following day before or by the end of the current day. The warehouse is to be kept clean and in order at all times. All items must be returned from the “Receiving zone” and immediately entered into the system. The Warehouse Associate must record any material taken from the warehouse. Any additional task(s) assigned by the warehouse manager must be completed promptly. The Warehouse Manager must be informed when a delivery arrives or departs from the warehouse. It may be required to deliver material to the project site. Work closely with the post-installation project manager to ensure all the material is ordered for upcoming jobs. Work closely with the field manager to ensure no issues with the material during installation. Work closely with the designer to make sure BOM and design are correct. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required 2+ years of Warehouse experience Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred Valid state driver’s license Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crawl, turn, stand, and balance Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses, and other PPE. Ability to work while wearing heavy protective equipment such as arc flash suits, gloves, and face shields Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings Schedule: 6am - 3pm Rate is $17-$19 per hour
