East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a customer in the telecommunication industry. This professional will be responsible for inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, picking, staging and delivering parts. Maintaining a clean, secure and safe work environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate

• Verify all incoming shipments to bills of lading and packing lists
• Receive inventory in the computerized system
• Notify Purchasing and supplier of shortages
• Place equipment in predetermined location
• Input of Bill of Materials into inventory system to create picking slip
• Pulling, staging and shipping of goods and part
• Complete shipping documents in inventory system
• Palletize the product and shrink wrap
• Load product onto truck
• Conduct physical count
• Investigate discrepancies

Requirements of the Warehouse Associate

• Picking and QC knowledge.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook, Materials Resource Planning (MRP) software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, and executives
• Good customer service skills
• Experience in warehouse operations is preferred
• Electrical Background is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Preference to a candidate with current or expired OSHA certification
• Must be accurate when reading numbers
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of containers
