Position: Warehouse Associate Location: In Office Employment: Full-time Regular Compensation: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports To: Warehouse Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Warehouse associates are responsible for a wide range of tasks to help ensure efficient overall operations of a company or business. Including, maintaining daily inventory logs, organizing and inspecting inventory and filling customer orders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Maintain organized inventory and proper labeling of all materials. Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified). Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits. Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and in compliance with company standards. Report damaged or missing items to supervisors immediately. Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. Traveling for deliveries and pickups will be required NECESSESARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, project teams, and customers Able to perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines Proficiency with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is highly desirable A strong understanding of and adherence to safety regulations is essential to prevent accidents. REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Forklift Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Stand, walk, sit, handling/fingering, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, squat or kneel or bend Lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs Must wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Steel-toed boots Hard hats with chin strap; chin strap must be worn at all times while in the warehouse Protective eyewear Hand protection Arm guards/sleeves Hearing protection if required by the hearing conservation program
