About the Role Here at Express Flooring, we understand every Warehouse Associate is an integral part of the success of Express Flooring. Ensuring product is received, maintained and stored properly, and distributed both with care and timely to our installation teams is of vital importance to the continued success and growth of the company. The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; store and distribute supplies and equipment; maintain inventory and stock records; and perform related work as required. On the job training will be provided. Job Type: In-Person – Full-Time Compensation: $19-21 hourly What You’ll Do Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently using RF-equipment/technology. Operate PC and RF-based computer systems with a high level of accuracy. Ensure timely & accurate input of data into company ERP/WMS as needed. Ensure fulfillments are picked/packed/shipped in a fast-paced manner. Load and unload cargo from in/outbound trucks with forklift and/or pallet jacks. Accurately measure, cut, and package roll products. Receive, store, and ship goods and materials based on assigned tasks. Tag all inbound merchandise with receiving data and put away in designated locations. Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage areas and loading docks. Load/deliver flooring materials to customers/contractors outside of warehouse locations. Safely operate forklifts and other heavy machinery. Verify inventory level in system against physical count of stock in warehouse locations. Strict adherence to clean and maintain the warehouse & compliance with OSHA safety standards. Stack and pile boards, lumber, and pallets as needed. Perform maintenance and upkeep each shift ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized. Complete any other tasks assigned by management. Communicate clearly and concisely, orally, and in writing. Establish & maintain cooperative working relationships with company employees & vendors. Requires heavy weightlifting (60+ lbs.) ability on a regular basis. Knowledge of database and Microsoft Office Software programs utilized by the company. RF Scanner experience a plus. Pass and maintain forklift certification (1 or more year forklift experience preferred). Must speak English. Adherence to all company policies and procedures. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
